Spring Break Part 1 Mom and Boys

The Cheerleaders always go to Nationals which is in Anaheim, California.  This year it was over Spring Break.  We have taken our kids to Disneyland multiple times and have never had to wait in line.  So we were not too excited to go over Spring Break, but what do you do?  You go anyway.  We did decide since I took the girls there last May that they probably wouldn't love the crowd, and Todd wasn't wanting to go either.  So that left Tyson, Carson and I!!  This is the second trip I have taken with these two.  They are so funny, crazy, wild, embarrassing, sweet and enjoyable to be with.  There is not one picture of them with a normal face.  I guess when your a teenager its just not cool to smile normal???

We got a 5 day pass to Disneyland.  We figured since it was going to be so busy and the price difference from 3 to 5 days is not much we might as well!  It worked perfect we spent the morning at a park, took a break, sometimes went back and sometimes didn't!

Thanks to these babies. . . . .

we always got on plenty of rides, without spending too much time in line!

Screamn- One day we even got to spend a few hours with Braeden!
Me and my boys.  Tower of Terror- Back row, look how brave the mom is and how scared the boys are!
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Tower- Back row asleep this time
This ones for Grandma and Grandpa Pincock- Soarin

Toy Story- I won every time we went on Toy Story and Buzz!!!

Screamn

We were so scared on Splash Mountain!  The camera was down half the time we went on this ride so we only got this picture.  However Braeden has some great ones with his friends.

Jungle Cruise- I forgot how funny this ride was!

Then there is Cars Land!

On the days we went to California Adventure we got to ride on Radiator Springs twice a day without waiting in line more than 1/2 hour!  One day we even got on 3 times.  Crazy thing is we rode the ride 7 times and we only won the race once.  What are the chances?

For years we have taken the art class.  This time we learned to draw Olaf!
We even saw Olaf in person!
Love the World of Color Show
And Love the Fireworks
When we would ride the bus back to the parking lot Tyson would stand those grip handles up and balance them.  I'm sure he entertained everyone on the bus.
Cheesecake Factory
So Friday night we had left the park early.  We spent the evening at the hotel.  The boys swam and played basketball.  We went to bed early around 8:45 because we were exhausted.  I had just fallen asleep and was startled by something shaking at 9:09.  I immediately knew what it was. . . . . . an earthquake.  I jumped out of bed told the boys it was an earthquake and we all got under the table in the kitchen.  It was wild.  I had felt one about an hour earlier but didn't know it was an earthquake because it wasn't as big.  It ended up being a 5.1  We felt aftershocks until Monday.

We spent one afternoon at the beach with the cheer team.  Tyson loved drawing in the sand and they got a beach run in while we were there.
I love these three.  I am so grateful they get along so good.  They are such good friends.

And for the whole reason we went, a 2 1/2 minute performance by the Cheerleaders.
They did so great!  They came in 7th place in their division.  They missed 6th place by 1 point.  (They take the top 6 to finals which means they would have gotten to perform once more.)  But they scored the highest any Idaho team has ever scored at Nationals.  So good job Skyline!

Look at all those Cheerleaders on the floor waiting to hear the scores!

And now two tired boys who fell asleep driving our 6 miles from Disneyland to our hotel!

Thanks boys!  You are so fun to be with.  I love you.
