The trees are naked!!!

Three weeks ago this is what our yard looked like:

This is how many bags we collected in week one: (look at how many leaves were still on the ground, and minus the 10 bags the neighbor took for their garden!)

This is how many leaves we gathered in week two:

And finally on week three we have our yard back and Analee informed us that the trees look naked!

Thank heavens for a riding lawn mower this year that made the job sooooo much easier.

Ashlynn is 11

Happy Birthday Ashlynn!
We only let our kids have parties every other year, and this is our on year.
What do you do for an 11 year old girls birthday party?  After a lot of thought we figured out the perfect idea!  A Photo Booth Birthday Party.  It was a lot of work, but turned out really fun.
Ashlynn with her cake.  I had it made, it is hard to see but I love the camera on top with all the candles.
To start out the party we played charades to get them photo ready!  They had words like pose like a statue (That is what Ashlynn is doing in this picture!) stick out your tongue and pull your ears, go cross eyed, make a heart with your hand.  Anyway it was a good opener.

Then we moved on to the actual "photo booths"  This was the Birthday Booth!

Next was the Thanksgiving  Day Booth

Polaroid Booth

Picture Frame Booth

and the Wild West Booth

We had a candy buffet and the girls filled their bags as full as they could!

We took all the pictures first, then I quickly sent them to one hour photo.  We had cake and ice cream, opened presents, played a couple games and filled the candy bags.  By then the pictures were ready, we tied them all together with ribbon. It turned out sooo cute and the girls loved making them!  Happy 11th Birthday Ashlynn.  We love you.

Halloween

Halloween is not my favorite Holiday, but we do have some fun traditions that the kids look forward to.  They include:

 Carving Pumpkins

Eating Pizza and making Rootbeer

Passing out candy. (Ashlynn does not like trick or treating!)

 Trick or Treating
Carson- Blind Referee

Analee- Stick Figure

Tyson- Scary Hot Dog
And we can't get through the night without scaring people!!!!!
This is the mask I used to scare Todd this year.  He was so scared he actually pushed me!
It was sooooooo funny, I was laughing for hours.

We missed Braeden this year (he was working) but oh how I love my kids and the fun times we have together.  It makes me so sad to see them growing so fast and realizing that they will soon be gone :-(
